The Coalition currently funds four family centres. These programs are geared towards families with children ages 1-4 and are free to attend. All of the drop in programs are for parents and children to attend together.

All the drop in programs are for parents and children to attend together and include the following activities:
• Free Play
• Optional craft
• Nutritious snack
• Snack
• Song and rhyme time
• Story time
• Participants are also encouraged to borrow a book from our lending library

Parc La Salle Family Centre

Parc La Salle School, 190 Houde Drive

  1. Parking is on Houde Street (past the one hour parking signs).
  2. Use the main entrance to the school on Houde Street.
  3. No need to check in at the office. Centre located in room 112. Follow signs in the hall.
  4. Strollers and bikes can be left against the wall in the hall outside the Family Centre.
  5. A sign-in sheet is located just inside the Family Centre door. Name tags can be found there as well.
  6. Please make sure to bring indoor runners.

Waverly Heights Family Centre

Run out of the Waverly Heights Community Centre, 1885 Chancellor Dr.
Tuesday & Friday mornings from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

  1. Parking is in the community centre parking lot.
  2. Use the side entrance on the south side of the building.
  3. No need to check in at the office.
  4. There is lots of room for strollers right inside the building.
  5. For security reasons everyone must sign in (the center’s book daily) and wear a nametag
  6. Please make sure to bring indoor runners.

Richmond Family Centre

Richmond Kings Community Centre, 666 Silverstone

  1. Free parking in strip mall on same side of street as school
  2. Use the main entrance (nearest the bulletin board).
  3. Go to the office to check in, they will assist you on your first visit to find the Family Centre.
  4. Strollers are permitted and there is a carpet to leave them outside the Family Centre.
  5. There will be a sign-in book in the family centre to record your visit. We wear plastic clip-on name tags so we can learn each other’s name.
  6. Please make sure to bring indoor runners.
